Welcome to Wild Roots Birth Collective, We are so happy you're here!
What started as a personal calling to support women on the journey to motherhood, became a united vision, and together, we formed our collective. We are women from different professional paths, woven together by a shared passion, a passion that is deeply rooted in empowering the families we support, in a way that honors their journey of birth and parenthood. As Doulas, we each bring unique strengths, different ways of caring, and our own deep well of experience to the families we serve. Together, we are building something rare in our rural towns — a truly holistic, evidence-based, heart-led birth and postpartum community.
Wild Roots Birth Doula, offers "Full-Spectrum" doula services, which means, we offer support that focuses on more than just "birth & postpartum" services, we help support women in all phases on their journey to motherhood, Fertility, Pregnancy, Childbirth, Postpartum, Nutrition, Miscarriage, Adoption as well as IVF support. Our work is relationship based, we pride ourselves in fostering a safe, compassionate space for our clients, regardless of where they are on their journey, where trust and integrity is at the forefront.
We are currently in the last phases of becoming In-Network with all Missouri Medicaid Insurance plans, our mission is to make doula support accessible to all women, regardless of their financial situation. We also offer a sliding scale, and are happy to customize a package that best fits within your budget. We know every birth journey is unique, a winding story that encompasses your ideas, your rituals, your faith, your determination to bring your baby earthside. We honor you and your choices, and would love to be a part of your birth and postpartum story.♡
Wild Roots Birth Collective is on a MISSION to help REVOLUTIONIZE the way women are being supported, especially during pregnancy, labor and birth. We are the FIRST Doula Agency in our area (STL and SouthEast MO) to be in collaboration with a hospital, to offer our UNIQUE Birth Doula Support to the clients at Parkland Health Center, in Farmington, MO. We are proud to work alongside the OB's, Midwife, FNP's and Nurses to give the best possible care to the clients we serve.
We are also the first Doula's in our area to navigate an "Adoption" with a doula client, from finding a family looking to adopt, to setting up attorney appointments, finalizing all the legal things, supporting both the birth mom and the adopting mom during labor, the golden hour, and navigating the challenges and emotions that comes with such a big decision. This was an incredible birth to be a part of.

Need "Last Minute" BIRTH SUPPORT ? This service is a flat fee of $600
If you're looking for last minute BIRTH support, We've got you! We understand the need for that extra support during your labor and birth, whether it be to help keep you mentally and emotionally grounded, or help you physically to get through labor. Our doulas can offer compassionate, skilled support, and arrive at the hospital when you call. They will support your through birth and help guide you with the first latches and breastfeeding right after baby is born.

Concierge Postpartum Services
What does "Concierge-level" postpartum doula support mean?
It means that you are the top priority. As your Doula, we value YOU, the healing of your body, your mental state after giving birth, your emotional and physical well-being. We believe that during this sacred time, a mother should be held. That means whole-person care.
We offer warm oil massages and bodywork, and BengKung Belly Binding in postpartum to help heal and soothe not only the body but also the mother's spirit and mind. We aim to foster that care throughout our time with our postpartum families.
On a daily level, we ensure you get time for self-care, relaxing time to bond with your new little person. We ensure you have a nutritious meal and plenty to drink, so you stay hydrated. Your main household tasks are done, like laundry, dishes, bottle and pump parts; we help straighten the house.
Overnight Postpartum hours or Day time hours start at $45/hr
with a sliding scale for those that qualify.
($55/hr for Multiples)
Breastfeeding Support
Getting a baby to latch properly is important, we help you right after birth, to get baby latched to feed, but sometimes you need that extra help.
We are excited to offer a one-on-one virtual Breastfeeding Consultation option with Portia Kniffin, she comes with years of experience as a Breasfeeding Peer Counselor and she'd ready to help give you all the guidance, tips & tricks to help you successfully navigate your breastfeeding journey!
Lactation services start at $50/30 minute consultation
IBCLC Breastfeeding Consultant
We are so EXCITED to have Tracy Williams as part of our Wild Roots Team! She has years of experiences as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and has been supporting breastfeeding families since 2012
She offers our clients the expertise when it comes to breastfeeding and lactation challenges. You can book her through our form at the top of our page.
I offer:
~ Prenatal Classes & Consultations – Prepare for breastfeeding before baby arrives.
~ Postpartum Breastfeeding Consults – Help with latch, supply, nipple pain, and feeding challenges.
~ Bottle & Supplemental Feeding Consults – Guidance for bottle refusal, supplemental feeding options, paced bottle feeding, and feeding techniques for caregivers.
~ Return-to-Work/School Consults – Plan for pumping, milk storage, and maintaining supply.
~ Flange & Bra Fittings – Find the right, comfortable fit for your body and pump.
~Text Support – Ongoing encouragement and answers when you need them most.
Birth & Newborn Photography

Let our Birth Doulas & Photographers, Terri Jones & Sarah Zepeda , help capture those precious moments, you'll cherish always! From maternity photos, capturing the real, raw, beautiful moments in labor and in birth, and then snapping those "fresh 48's".... our Girls have you covered!

Postpartum Meal Prep
Making sure our postpartum mama's have good nutritious meals, that are easily digested, and gut healthy after she comes home with baby, is vital for her healing.
We now offer a service for a "Meal Prep Day" where I, the Doula come and help "prep" meals for the household, so everything is ready when she comes homes with baby.
You will have 4-6 meal choices to choose from. Imagine having meals prepped and now you can focus on healing and enjoying your baby during your postpartum, without all the fuss of wondering what to cook or eat from a carry out restuarant.
This service is $250 + your groceries, based off the meals you decide on.
BengKung Belly Binding
This is a 1 hour postpartum "speciality" visit. This includes the Bengkung Belly binding session, the organic muslin belly binding cloth, that you will keep. I will wrap you during this session, as well as teach you how to wrap yourself for the days following.
These belly binding sessions help to speed healing of your postpartum body, and give you that added support for your internal organs and uterus.
$200 ** Price includes the wrap + the initial binding
+ teaching you how to do this on yourself.
