What began as a personal calling has grown into a collective of doulas and birth professionals woven together by one shared purpose: ensuring mothers are deeply supported, seen, and cared for. Care that is rooted in integrity and lived experience, our work is guided by the knowing that every mother deserves access to compassionate, intentional support.
At Wild Roots, we believe this work is sacred. Each doula within our collective is here because they answered the deep calling to walk beside women during one of the most powerful seasons of their lives. Each serve our mama's during birth and postpartum, with passion, belief, integrity, and professionalism, because our mama's matter.
As the founder of Wild Roots, my passion has always been supporting mothers from pregnancy through postpartum. As a birth and postpartum doula and student Midwife, I have over 7,000 hours of hands on postpartum care, this lived experience shapes everything we do, from how we serve families to how we mentor and care for the doulas within our collective. Together, our team has supported over 175 births, each one approached with trust, integrity, and deep respect for the unique journey each family walks.
Wild Roots is more than a service. It is a movement rooted in remembrance and the sacredness of birth and motherhood. We believe that when a woman feels truly seen, heard, and held, especially in her most vulnerable moments, she is able to surrender in labor and birth as well as receive the care she deserves in postpartum. This level of support has a lasting impact, shaping not only her experience, but how she shows up for herself and her children.

When Birth Comes Full Circle
We are excited to be the first Doula Agency in the greater St. Louis , MO area to be in collaboration with a hospital as the doulas they refer their clients to! Being able to offer birth doula support to the mama's in our rural areas, especially the ones with Medicaid Insurance, is so needed! We are thankful that Missouri is a state that recognizes mothers that have doula support during pregnancy, labor and birth have greater positive birth outcomes. This is such an honor to be working with the Ob's, Midwife, Nurse Practitioners and Nursing staff. Myself and Portia, both had our babies at Parkland, and now our daughters have had their babies there as well! We are so honored to be working in collaboration with the very hospital we gave birth at. We've come full circle!
