 The Motherhood Lounge is not just a space. It is a feeling. It is the physical home of everything Wild Roots believes about how mothers deserve to be supported, with intention, with integrity, and with a depth of care that goes far beyond the surface. We built this space because mothers deserve somewhere to land. A place that was created specifically for them ...not a sterile waiting room, not a hospital corridor, not a parking lot handoff.  A real, warm, rooted, and safe place where you are seen, heard, you find community, new friends..and  "Your Village." 

 This is that place.

 Prenatal Consultations & Postpartum Support Visits

 Meet with your Wild Roots doula in a space that was designed to hold you. Comfortable, private, and intentionally created for the conversations that matter most, your birth hopes, your fears, your questions, your plan. Childbirth Education Classes Heart-led, evidence-based childbirth education taught by doulas who have actually been in the room. We don't teach from a textbook. We teach from experience... so you walk into your birth feeling grounded, prepared, and confident in your body and your instincts. 

Newborn Care Classes 

Because bringing a baby home is one of the most beautiful and overwhelming things you will ever do. Our newborn care classes give you the practical knowledge and the emotional reassurance you need to step into parenthood feeling ready ...not terrified.

 Breastfeeding Classes & Lactation Support 

From prenatal breastfeeding preparation to in-person lactation support in the fourth trimester — our team including our IBCLC Tracy Williams and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Portia Kniffin are here to walk alongside you every step of your feeding journey. 

Birth Photography Studio 

The Motherhood Lounge is home to our in-house birth photography studio — a beautifully intentional space where you can capture maternity photos, newborn portraits, and Fresh 48 sessions in a warm, intimate setting without ever leaving our community. 

BengKung Belly Binding Sessions 

Receive your traditional belly binding session in our dedicated postpartum care space — a sacred, unhurried hour devoted entirely to your healing body and spirit. 

Community Mom Groups & Gatherings 

You were never meant to do this alone. Our community gatherings bring mothers together in a space free from judgment — where you can share, rest, laugh, cry, and simply be with women who understand exactly where you are. 

Our Free Community Closet 

Because we believe no mama should ever have to choose between her needs and her baby's...

The Motherhood Lounge keeps a community closet stocked with:

 Every item has been donated by the Wild Roots families we have had the honor of serving. Every item is completely free. No appointment needed. No application. No questions asked. If you need it — it's yours. That's the whole policy.

The Motherhood Lounge is open to every mother, regardless of her birth story, her circumstances, her finances, or where she is on her journey. This is a deeply rooted, heart-led, mama-focused space where integrity guides everything we do and every woman who walks through our door is treated as the sacred, capable, worthy human she is.
